American Airlines maintenance facility is part of DGAC´s expansion planned grid. This corporate building is used for in-house aircraft maintenance operations, avoiding the need of relocation for technical services. The building also houses other main human resources, such as operations, platform, and maintenance units.
Design-wise, one of the main strategies was the creation of a naturally illuminated south facade, including thermal isolation and protection against UV radiation through the use of the Danpalon system, contributing to the well-being of the personnel inside and the electrical energy use reduction.
